Fans have reacted to Kron Gracie reflecting on his loss to Charles Jourdain ahead of his clash with Bryce Mitchell at UFC 310 on Dec.7 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Gracie lost to Jourdain at UFC 288 via unanimous decision.
Speaking with MMA Fighting, Gracie acknowledged that relying on just jiu-jitsu alone in an MMA fight wasn't enough and that he shouldn't have listened to others. He stated:
“It is MMA and I kind of veered away from what I believe in my heart… I came into that fight with just one tool, you know, and it was just a bad, stupid decision. It was the first time I ever listened to someone around me and changed my game plan in my heart, and I paid the price for it.”
@MMAFighting shared the clip on their Instagram, which sparked reactions from several MMA fans who rushed to the comment section to express their opinions.

Kron Gracie responds to critics of his fight with Bryce Mitchell being on the main card of UFC 310
The promotion is facing a huge backlash from fans for placing Kron Gracie and Bryce Mitchell on the main card, while Movsar Evloev's clash with Aljamain Sterling is on the preliminary card of UFC 310.
In the aforementioned interview, Gracie shared his thoughts on the criticism and asserted that the UFC knows the business and understands which fights will get attention. He said:
''I think it’s funny because the people always have something to say. And it’s interesting that people who would complain about something like that are probably the people who are not even paying for the pay-per-view, they’re streaming it for free."
"You’re stealing the pay-per-view and they’re the ones complaining about where the fight is... I don’t see why it’s such a big deal obviously because I don’t really care about that kind of situation.''
He continued:
''Obviously, the UFC knows what they’re doing and they’re in the business of making fights and matchmaking...I’m sure that this is a business deal and it is what it is, you know?''
